Sunday, October tenth, was World Mental Health Day. This years observance centered on the relationship between mental health and chronic physical conditions like diabetes and cancer. The World Health Organization says more than 450,000,000 people suffer from poor mental health. The most common disorders are depression and schizophrenia. Mental health experts also include other disorders like drug and alcohol abuse that affect millons of people. Elena berger is with the World Federation for Mental Health.

My hometown TianJin





Tianjin is a municipality direct under the Central Government, it is a morden big city, as well as an opening city. It’s situated in the northern of china. Covering an area of 11,300 square km, and with a population of 10 million.
It’s rich in petroleum, natural gas and sea salt along the coastal area. As one of China’s biggest industrial centers. Tianjin has built up an all-round industrial system with machinery, electronics, textiles, chemicals, metallurgy, foodstuff ect.
The production on a large scale, of arts and crafts like handmade carpets, YangLiuQing New Year pictures, Zhang’s painted clay figurines, kites etc. It holds an important position in the country.
There are a lot of delicious food in my city, like goubuli baozi, shibajie mahua, erduoyan zhagao ect, these food very popular in China.
In suburb, there are some beautiful mountains and rivers. Famous HuangYaGuan Great Wall also in my hometown, you can enjoy beautiful scenery, like natural oxygen bar.
